Low Season

Calm before the storm

In our humble opinion, the best time of the year to come to our campsite, is just before the high season starts. It is still wonderfully peaceful, temperatures are pleasant: it’s neither too cold, nor too hot and nature is at its most beautiful.

At La Tuque everything is still quiet and calm. Basically you’re camping on a mountain, right in the middle of nature, where you stand an excellent chance of seeing deer pass by your tent,  because the hustle and bustle on the campsite doesn’t start until mid-July. May 18 until July 8 and after August 26, are perfect times for elderly people, guests with no children, or families with children that are still too young to go to school to stay with us.

You’ll be able to enjoy lots of space for living and playing and there’s always a free lounge chair near the swimming pool. The campsite owner still has time for a chat, and you can park your car next to your tent or accommodation, which is very practical if you have trouble walking distances, or if you have small children. And, should you decide on an outing, for example to the famous Padirac caves, you will not have to stand in line.

All our swimming pools are open, the paddling pool is heated and our restaurant and bar open on June 10.

Attractive discount offers

On top of all the above-mentioned advantages, during these times, the price for staying with us isn’t even half the price you pay during high season and you’ll receive an extra 20 % discount when renting one of our accommodations for a week or more. For camping we offer a 7 for 6 discount.
